how do i fix a game boy color game?
i recently bought a gbc game and it is broken. i know the battery isn’t dead because there is no battery. it uses passwords. when i put in the game, the title screen and everything is fine but when i start playing it is messed up. the enemies and character sprites are intact but the background like trees and the ground are like pixelated and there are numbers all around. i can play the game. it seems like someone harrassed it with a gameshark or something. how do i fix this?
Honestly dude, you yourself can’t fix it but you could just call Nintendo and hope they can fix it. It’s not a good possibility since it’s a gbc game. The only thing you can try is wiping the inside of the cartridge. You know the bottom of the game that has that open space. Try some rubbing alchohal on a rag or something along those lines. That’s all I can tell you.
