What should i do to mt golf game?

I have just stared golf. I have a dream to play next to Tiger Woods in the U.S. Open. I have a plan to go to golf college and work at my game and when i am 22 or 23 go out for the nationwide tour. Should i go to golf college or just practice on my own. Get a job at a local golf course and play for free. What should i do?

DON’T work at a golf course if you really want to be a player (you don’t have to be 16 to work at a ourse btw). Ask any club pro. Golf courses are so busy during peak season you don’t have time to play, when you do play you are distracted easily (you are essentially still at your place of employment) an often by the time work is done, you don’t want to still be at work! (And in the off-season the conditions are often not conducive to playing, depending on where you live.) AND golf courses don’t pay well, meaning you would have to work more hours to earn what you want to. (

You’d be better off getting a well-paying job and pay for your golf (you’ll be able to afford it). Get a job with flexible hours, or shifts that allow time for golf. (I used to always envy stock brokers and postal workers, who seemed to always have afternoons off and played way more golf than I did as a club pro!).

Finally, work toward playing in a lot of tournaments to ready you for college golf. College golf is not the only way to go, but it is the best, if you want to play on the big Tour.
