Challenge Wireless
can a wireless router be used for 2 desktops in the same house?
I am really computer challenged. I have a compaq desk top that runs windows xp and am getting MIL’s desk top that that runs windows 98. Just using them for internet for kids homeschooling and emails. If we get a wireless router can we run both computers off this or how could we do this? Please explain as simples as possible. Turning the computer on is a challenge for me ;o) We have cable internet access. Thanks for your help!

if your desktop have a wireless adapter which most dont you can use wireless internet with both… im pretty sure that the XP will work but 98 hm… that would be a problem
